All You Need to Know about Display Cases
There are things that are simply too beautiful to hide them. While beauty is definitely in the eye of the beholder, the question remains, where do you store your valuables, while at the same time placing them on display? On these pages you will find the answers in the form of a large selection of showcases, which will make the hearts of all collectors, or design lovers, beat faster.
Regular glass cabinets are often available in the form of a classic cabinet. Depending on the model, the doors are completely transparent, or only on certain shelves, while the rest is made of opaque material. Partial drawers are still attached in the lower part. These showcases are usually suitable for accommodating beautiful dishes or other relatively large objects thanks to their depth and often find their place in the living or dining room. The style palette ranges from rustic wood front all the way to high-gloss optics.
Sideboard cabinets are often in demand in the living room because of their reduced height. Even with decorative feet they are usually on or just above waist height. This means that not only space is available in the interior - the surface can also be used as a table or shelf.
Designer semi-cabinets are the bold combination of the two previously mentioned models. The height is usually somewhere between sideboard and cabinet level, and they enrich every apartment with their often colorful designs. Neutral handles and metal feet are an elegant addition to the chosen tone. The doors have a small glass insert in the upper part.
If all this is too small for you, there are complete living rooms focusing on showcases. These include, depending on the combination, one or more chests of drawers, hangers or cabinets and boards. The advantage of the overall package is the visual balance, the great offer of storage space and the favorable price compared to the retail purchase.
For genuine collectors such cabinets are, of course, not optimal: therefore, there are exclusive collection cabinets, specifically designed for the valuable objects. The depth of the cabinet can vary hugely according to use for it: books, movies, trophies, miniature figures or more. Your treasures are protected by complete glass fronts.
Corner showcases are a special form of showcases, which uses clever niches for the exhibition of your collections. In most cases, it is also completely glazed so that as much insight as possible is offered. Also here you will find numerous variations in material and height.
For special collections there are also some less common items on offer. From nail varnish showcases to hanging lights within showcases (even plants or food look great in here!) or even a watch display - look no further, as the possibilities are endless.
An important common denominator of all showcases is the lighting. If you want to find something beautiful, then it should also be in the right light. Built-in lighting is therefore already included in a variety of showcases. The effect will inspire you!
