Here are 5 tips for making the most out of your Bathroom Design
How to furnish your bathroom depends especially on one thing: the size of the room. Therefore, it is a good idea to measure in advance how much space your bathroom has for furniture. Nowadays, uniform compositions - from the wall mirror to the hanging cabinet and the bathroom commode - are all in the same design - which makes the room look classy. Top styles are white, Italian bathroom furniture, new forms with sink, bathtub and co., minimalistic but noble fittings and wooden floor or brick wall as a rustic background.
It is not always possible to place bathroom furniture far away from water so that they are protected against drops and splashes. Make sure you choose furniture with waterproof paint or water-repellent material to prevent excessive wear-and-tear.
Especially if you have children, small to medium-sized puddles can occur around the bath, shower and sink. Therefore, make sure that the furniture doesn’t stand directly on the floor (especially if it is made of wood or chipboard), but, instead, have feet, because swelling wood reduces the life of the cabinet, looks unattractive and can lead to drawers or cupboards no longer being able to be closed. If your favorite unit has no feet, cabinet feet are very cheap - individually or in a set - and can be attached quickly and easily with a screwdriver. There is also a considerable selection of bathroom commodes and cabinets that you can attach to the wall.
If your bathroom is decorated in neutral colors, such as white tiles and white wash basins, you can still obtain charm, warmth and style - just introduce color coordinated home textiles such as shower curtains, bath towels and bath rugs and round up the whole thing with a few matching, wisely used decorative objects such as vases, shells or sculptures. Plants that love moisture bring a lot of atmosphere into wet areas. And a nice wall color matching the decoration is the icing on the cake.
What to do with a mini bathroom? Some apartments have bathrooms so small that you can hardly place any furniture in them. Our tip: Measure your bathroom and consider hanging furniture - which is also available in narrower versions. A narrow cabinet is still better than none! Optimal storage space in a small bathroom also offers space for the mirror cabinet above the sink. Corner furniture is ideally suited to use any free space in your bathroom. And, if the bathroom is really small, choose a rollable cabinet. It can change place and be pushed out of the way whenever you need. If you want to go a step further, you are not only working with colors, but also with themed pictures on walls or fabrics - so you create not only your personal feel-good oasis, but at the same time a scene, for example, on the Caribbean beach or in an Asian spa. Whatever your imagination, there is no real limit to it.
